Fellow
Shareholders:
Goldbelt
has produced profits for each of the last five years. We should all be proud of
this record, but let us not forget the difficult years during our company’s
transition from dependence on timber income. There is nothing certain about Goldbelt’s current revenue sources in
today’s challenging political and economic environment.
I am
running for the Goldbelt Board to help ensure that dividends continue to be
issued in ever greater amounts, that we increase Goldbelt’s contribution to
shareholder scholarships, and that we maintain our commitment to our elders.
If elected
to the Goldbelt Board of Directors, I will encourage active participation among
members of the board in approving, questioning, and making final decisions on
Goldbelt’s mission, strategy, policies, and objectives.I believe it is the role of each director to
advise management about potential threats and opportunities, and to insist that
management adheres to a clear plan for the future of our corporation.
With your vote
of support, I will bring to the board of directors a deep passion for
our Native culture and the skills that will help our corporation
compete in today's environment. By leveraging my diverse professional
background which is rooted in strategic management practices of the
"Silicon Valley", Goldbelt will be better positioned to grow and ensure
future opportunities for you and your descendants. I respectfully ask
for your vote and I look forward to serving you.
